CHris MEGRAW, CO-FOUNDER & Managing partner
Chris is from a small town in Ontario and is in his third year of his Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance and Accounting. His past work experience includes helping to run the administration department for Country Signs, a medium-size construction business in Ontario for three summers.
Chris is also an Analyst with the PRIME program (CA$2mm fund at the University of Alberta), the VP Events of the Entrepreneurship Club, and a consistent participant in case competitions, attending one in Pamplona, Spain in March of 2018.
Chris brings the skills of financial analysis, business development, leadership, and an entrepreneurial perspective on problems.
He’s an avid gym-goer, skier, Leafs fan, and follower of the stock market, having his own personal portfolio.
Ankur Pandit, Co- Founder & Managing Partner
Although born in Nepal, Ankur has spent most of his life in Canada, calling Calgary his hometown. He is currently in the fourth year of a Bcom. degree at the University of Alberta, pursuing a major in Business Economics and Law. He is also a scholar at the Peter Lougheed Leadership College.
Ankur has spent his prior two summers working in the not for profit sector and public sector respectively. In addition, he has also competed internationally for the Alberta School of Business’ case competition team. Through these experiences, he has gained an understanding of three vastly different spheres: the public, private and not for profit sectors.
From a business standpoint, he possesses a strong marketing savvy, an understanding of digital marketing trends, and the ability to translate complex business concepts into everyman terms.
Ankur is also an avid gym-goer, basketball fan, and amateur wine connoisseur on the weekends.
Ahmed Haroon, Partner
Ahmed is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Alberta, with a major in Finance. Ahmed has work experience in both the not-for-profit sector and the startup community. He has been vastly involved with the world of consulting through his time as President on the Interdisciplinary Consulting Association.
With a strong science background to supplement his business knowledge, Ahmed has developed skills in financial analysis, marketing, and leadership.
Outside of school, Ahmed loves to workout, watch sports, and read about history.
Omar Sabbagh, Partner
Omar is in his fourth year of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. His passion for problem solving, interest in business, and entrepreneurial spirit lead him to join ASCG.
Omar is currently working at Imperial Oil, where he is interning as a Technical Contact. Previously, he has done internships at a boutique engineering firm as well as a biomedical research group.
Outside of school and work, Omar enjoys playing soccer and reading random articles online.
